The Alicante City Tourist Board would like to invite you to join us on one of our free guided walking tours around the most beautiful places of interest in Alicante this summer.
We present 3 attractive routes suitable for the whole family. Please choose the date according to the visit that interests you most:

Route 1: ALICANTE AND ITS HISTORY

A visit to the historical and artistic legacy of the city. A tour of the locations and places that reveal the history of Alicante, its evolution and its future. We will visit monuments such as the Town Hall, the Santa María Basilica, the Explanada de España promenade, the Centro Labradores 15, the San Nicolás Co-Cathedral, the Water Museum, the Garrigós Wells…. and much more.

Route 2: ALICANTE AND ITS TRADITIONS

A collection of stories and experiences created over a long period of time by its inhabitants. Join us on this peculiar journey along the streets and corners of the city centre. We will visit the Bonfires of Saint John Museum, the Central Market, the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, the Rambla de Méndez Núñez avenue, the Raval Roig area, Gabriel Miró square, the traditional city centre…and much more.

Route 3: ALICANTE AND ITS GARDENS

Our city and its connection with the sea has received a varied and interesting natural legacy through the many visitors who disembark on its shores, making up our natural and botanical heritage. Our visit will include the Paseito de Ramiro square, the Explanada de España promenade, the Portal de Elche square, the Paseo de Canalejas promenade, the Conde de Vallellano avenue, the Paseo Doctor Gadea, the Calvo Sotelo, Montañeta and Ruperto Chapí squares…and much more.

The visits will be carried out in Spanish and English, in groups of no more than 20 people. They will take place:

• Tuesdays & Fridays: route 1
• Wednesdays & Saturdays: route 2
• Thursdays & Sundays: route 3

 

HOURS

Departures will take place at 11 am Tuesdays to Sundays and during the months of July and August.
Our meeting point will be the Tourist Office located in the Town Hall square. Visits have a duration of 2 hours.

 

SAFETY MEASURES (COVID 19)

All safety measures will be observed (use of masks, social distance, etc.) and we advise you to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap.
