The Alicante City Tourist Board (Patronato Municipal de Turismo y Playas Alicante) is the independent municipal body given the responsibility of promoting and marketing the city as a tourist destination on the Spanish and overseas markets.

Its main functions include attending national and international tourism fairs, drawing up brochures and all kinds of promotional material, publicity campaigns, collaboration with other public and private bodies for the joint promotion of destinations, and other strategies that aim to attract tourists to the city of Alicante.
