Panteón de Quijano

The Pantheon of Quijano is one of the city’s iconic parks. The site invites you to pause and reflect. The history of the site goes back to the kindness of a man who fought against an epidemic that hit Alicante in the late nineteenth century, during which he lost his life.

This romantic park is very close to Las Cigarreras and Plaza de Toros, and about five minutes walk from the Central Market (Mercado Central).
